A4CV is designed to be privacy-first. The resume builder runs entirely in your browser and stores your resume locally on your device.

We do not require accounts, and we do not ask you to upload your resume to use the core product.

Data stored on your device

The builder uses local browser storage (localStorage) to save:

Your resume content (personal info, experience, education, etc.).
Your styling choices (template, font, accent, density, theme).
Optional photo data (stored as an image data URL if you add a photo).

You can clear this data anytime by clearing your browser storage, or by using the “Reset” action inside the builder.

Analytics and tracking

We aim to keep tracking minimal. If analytics are enabled in the future, they will be used to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which pages are visited) and to improve performance and reliability.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site may display ads provided by third parties such as Google AdSense. Ads may use cookies or device identifiers to personalize content or measure performance.
